Jennifer Crow is a professional vocalist based in Portland, Oregon. She sings in a wide variety of musical styles, including classical, sacred, rock, jazz, Americana, and folk. According to her own ridiculous memory, and verified by her mother, Jennifer was singing in the crib before she could talk. Interested in performing music since she can remember, Jennifer has sung in public from the time she was 6 years old. She graduated from the University of Portland with a B.A. in Music, Vocal Performance. Jennifer often collaborates with pianist Sarah Faux on music for funerals, weddings, and religious services. She spent three years as the lead vocalist of the Portland, Americana band Lloyd Mitchell Canyon, often performing throughout the Pacific Northwest and Montana.
Originally from Seattle, Washington, Jennifer came to Portland, Oregon by way of Ketchikan (Alaska), Rawlins (Wyoming), Clatskanie (Oregon), and Salzburg (Austria). Jennifer most recently returned to Portland after several months in Ireland, studying in Dublin and living in Galway. Always approaching songs from a focus on the lyrics and the meaning behind the words, Jennifer sings with intention and presence. A classically trained child of the '80s, influenced by her father's jazz radio program, she brings a passionate and unique approach to both singing and songwriting. She is currently working on original material and developing songs written in Ireland.
